Melomakarona by Threpsis™️

Melomakarona is the Greek Christmas sweet and the name comes from meli-honey). So here is our version; rich in essential fatty acids, antioxidants, fibre and protein. Great for adults and kids! Let’s call these Christmas protein balls by Threpsis. Or almost-melomakarona by Threpsis. Open to other suggestions in the comments. So these are sweet, full of flavour and full of nourishing ingredients! Great for a pick me up snack or with your tea/coffee. The little ones will love them! I used: 1 cup of oats 1 cup of cashews 1 tbsp of 🍯 (meli means honey in Greek) 1/2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground cloves The orange zest of one . Add all these ingredients in a food processor until they become smooth enough. Roll them into balls and cover them with cinnamon and crushed walnuts! And... Enjoy! 😋 Maybe leave some with a glass of milk for 🎅🏻and 🤶🏻! They definitely need that extra energy and protein these days ❤️! 🎄⭐️❄️ Merry Christmas everyone! ❄️⭐️🎄
